Sydney Central Hotel ( Rebranded as Citadines Hotel)
Project Overview

This project marked the strategic repositioning of the former Novotel Sydney Central into a Citadines-branded hotel under The Ascott Limited.

Trēo was appointed to deliver two fully resolved mock-up rooms—King and Twin—as proof of concept to validate design execution, Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment as well as Operating Supplies and Equipment integration, and service coordination ahead of the full property transformation. These mock-up rooms provided the blueprint for scalable implementation across the hotel.

Delivered between August 2024 and March 2025, the project aligned with CapitaLand’s Environmental, Social and Governance commitments, maintaining a 5 Star Green Star rating. Leveraging its strategic procurement model, Trēo achieved over four million dollars in cost savings while upholding design quality and operational consistency.
